Let’s start with some definitions.

Gold fever means being blinded by the search for money. By the value it brings. By the material comfort and happiness it brings. By the power it confers. By all the opportunities it offers to have even more… Gold fever is about being so blinded by these possibilities that you stop being yourself. C = Culture
Culture is what binds us together, what makes up our image and what it represents in the eyes of others. To be well regarded by culture contributes to the ‘glory’ of a people and improves its atmosphere.
Having little culture is a form of obscurantism that falls on them. It prevents them from showing solidarity. From connecting with each other. It makes them more vulnerable to politics. Politics becomes culture. And people are kind of forced to follow it because there’s not much else.
Having little culture also pushes people towards a lack of national/international recognition. If they want to show their superiority, they’ll have to do it some other way. With money, or by force when they are in a position of superiority. Sadism.
